¶ General Rules
- Be a good sport. Mods that alter scoring elements such as hitbox modification are banned from our services. [1]
- No multi-accounting. Your first account is your only account and is for you only. Do not share this account with anyone.
Players migrating from any platform can link their existing account to their new one such as steam with beatleader or steam with oculus. - No NSFW/18+ Content. This means drug use and topics of sexual nature are not allowed
- No Harassment of any kind. We are a community first and foremost who look out for each other.
- Common Sense. Use it.
¶ Ranking Process rules
The Review-Hub ranking process introduces a voting system which determines if you are allowed to drop your map from the ranking process.
- If a map has received a
(denied) vote, you are allowed to drop that map which will not result in a penalty. However, this will add to your rejected maps record. - If a map has received a No, Neutral, or Yes vote, you are not allowed to drop that map. If you decide to drop your map anyway, an offence will be applied.
You may not drop maps that have not recieved an
(denied) vote.
Any map that has been nominated may not be dropped, unless it is discovered that significant changes which require a remap were found that would have resulted in an
¶ Rejected maps record
Your rejected maps record is a list of maps you have recently decided to drop after receiving (denied) votes in Review-hub. If you reach 3 denied maps, an offence will be applied. Your amount of denied maps will lower through the following actions:
- When you successfully rank a mapset, we will remove the oldest recorded mapset from your rejected maps record
- A recorded rejection will be automatically removed after 6 months have passed.
This system aims to incentivise mappers to submit quality maps to Review-hub, and to avoid situations where mappers continuously submit sub-par maps to Review-hub.
An offence will be applied if your rejected map list reaches a total of 3 maps. This list will gradually decrease.
¶ Offences
When an offence is applied, you will get banned from ranking maps for the duration listed below. Your next offence level will gradually move down as time goes on.
First offence: 1 month + acknowledgement
Second offence: 3 months + appeal
Third offence: 6 months + appeal
Subsequent offences: 1 year + appeal
You will move back one standing after the amount of time of the next tier has passed.
For example, 3 months after the 1st offence ban you will return to 0 offences again.
6 months after a second offence you will move back to a standing of 1 offence, and 3 months after that you will return to 0 offences again.
¶ General Rules for Mappers
You must never delete/reupload a ranked map because doing so will make the ranked map unavailable to players.
If you break this rule diciplainary action will be taken and you will be banned from ranking maps in the future.
The length of the appeal wait time will depend on previous offense history.
¶ Restricted actions
- Updating/Deleting a map ranked from the Beatleader Process.
- Failure to disclose any collaborations on Beatsaver.
- Ban-evasion.
In cases where a banned mapper collaborates with a ranked mapper with no disclosure
- The uploader will have this offence recorded and will be banned.
- The Banned mapper will have this offence recorded on top of the existing one and will have the corresponding time added to their existing ban time.
Offense(s) and corresponding appeal wait times:
1st offense: 6 month ban* + acknowledgement.
2nd offense: 1 year ban* + appeal.
3rd offense: 2 years ban* + appeal.
*Bans are uploader only.
To be considered eligible to collaborate with a banned mapper, you must have both:
- At least 3 ranked mapsets.
- At least 1 ranked mapset that has been ranked for 6 or more months before the ban.
Appeals form is not currently available
